Destiny

The scene "I'm your density, I mean my destiny" said by George McFly while holding his steno notebook kneeling in front of Lorraine Baines (mother of Marty Mcfly) is made famous in the movie Back to the Future trilogy. I don't always get this phrase every time I watch the said movie, I don't know if this is just the creativity or romance of George showing off or does it mean something else. I know that most of you would say, just search the google. But to tell you honestly, I don't really want to know the truth behind this phrase. Because as you can see, as long as you don't know the whole truth behind something or someone, it keeps you interested or it keeps your mind running to know what it really means or who he/she really is. Do you think that once you knew the answer or once you've solved the mystery behind something or someone else you'd still be interested? I don't think so, unless off course you are obsessive HAHA!

Destiny as what my professor said or as what I had understand it is something that you wouldn't expect in a million years or in a million ways but destiny has always been undefined for me
because after one question is answered there goes another different and deep question. As what my readers don’t know is I am studying again for my 2nd degree or I really don't know what to call it HA! And there is always this time when I ask myself "Are you really sure of what you are doing? You do realize that you have your own voice right?"  And then I'll answer myself that maybe this is really my destiny whether I understand it or not. Is it really my destiny? How do I know that I have reached what is destined for me? How do I know when to stop? These silly questions tend to block the minds of most of us. But then I realize don’t mind destiny at all. Besides, you are the one making your own destiny, every decision leads to another different destiny, every experience creates another destiny for yourself. Every word you said and every smile you make leads to another destiny. That’s why don’t believe it when someone tells you “If it’s meant to be, it will be” because you are the one creating a path for yourself and no one else. Destiny will still exist if you go on your daily routine without asking yourself why I am doing this. Destiny will still exist in the dictionary even if as what I have said it is undefined. Destiny will still exist as long as there is someone out there who bases his/her decisions on destiny and you don’t.

I think the bottom line to this is “Destiny is what you make of it. Your destiny is you alone and nothing else” George McFly is destined to kneel in front of Lorraine Baines because he decided or his heart decided that he is in love with Lorraine Baines.
