Give it up for Brian Tyler!!!

Lately my attention is focused on soundtracks of the films / TV shows that I have watched, and games that I have played cause' the music itself makes the film/game a lot more exciting and entertaining. Can you just imagine life without any music at all?

Because I'm so hooked with soundtracks lately I met Brian Tyler. Well off course through the internet HAHA at first I thought "Yeah, he just got lucky to get Far Cry 3" but after some further research I literally ate what I just said about him. Brian Tyler is well known composer, producer, conductor and a film producer. F YEAH! right?

He is known for his scores for Iron Man 3, Eagle Eye, The Expendables, Fast Five, Fast and Furious, The Expendables 2, Law Abiding Citizen, The Final Destination, Rambo, Constantine, Now You See Me, and Battle: Los Angeles. And I just realized that all of this movie has an amazing soundtracks. Brian Tyler really is amazing.

Remember my blog about Looking for Some New Sounds ?? it talks about the wonderful soundtrack of Need For Speed: The Run, well guess what, Tyler also scored this wonderful game, he also scored the game Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3, Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel, Lego Universe and Far Cry 3.

Overall Brian Tyler is a composer of over 50 films and he was recently nominated for "Film Composer of the Year" by the International Film Music Critics Association. His score for Frailty won him a "World Soundtrack Award" in 2002 as well as the "The World Soundtrack Award" as Best New Film Composer of the Year. In 2003 he received an Emmy Nomination for his score for "The Last Call". And the list goes on and on...

What an overwhelming Biography right?

Tomb Raider: A Survivor is Born

I don't want to gloat about it but few days ago, I kicked the ass of the Sun God Himiko and Father Mathias in the game Tomb Raider 2013. While playing the game I should say its cool, some of its stages took me hours to get through, well I'm not that of a gamer, gamer if you know what I mean. And lastly the game is good enough to prevent me from doing other things or should I say the game is a bit of addicting?!?!

Overall I could rate this game 8/10, the graphics is good, the game play is also good although there are some glitches which is tolerable. And finally who couldn't agree with me that Lara Croft is hot? She is voiced and performed by Camilla Luddington who is now appearing in U.S vampire show True blood, and Grey's Anatomy

Let me give you some useful information about Tomb Raider.

From the name of the game itself you could tell that Tomb Raider is an action-adventure video game and it is published by Square Enix (also the publisher of Final Fantasy Series). The gameplay elements focus more on survival, because in the game you could hunt down animals, collect plants etc. and there are set of survival skills for you to complete through out the game. The game is set on Yamatai ( Yamatai-koku is the Sino-Japanese name of an ancient country in Japan during the late Yayoi period ) wherein Lara must save her friends and escape, (well isn't that too obvious?!?!) I have to admit that I feel sorry for some characters that die in the game cause' for me no one has to die, but then again its a game and anything can happen.

Tomb Raider is also the first game in the series to have a multiplayer and it is also the first game to be published by Square Enix.

Tomb Raider has different stages that puts together action-adventure, exploration and survival mechanics. The game is presented in third-person perspective ( I think its to show how hot Lara is??). Along with the main story, players will have the chance to do multiple side quest like finding artifacts, maps, diaries etc., explore the island, revisit places, and search for challenge tombs.

And that's it guys, to wrap it up here is the trailer of Tomb Raider 2013

Happy Playing!

Happy Labor Day!

This morning I thought to myself "should I say Happy Labor day? is it appropriate to include happy in labor day?" then I asked my brother about it, then he said " There's nothing to celebrate about labor day" then I said " Why? it's your day after all." Then I remembered that my brother doesn't have any holidays well except for Christmas and New Years. But still my brother should be happy about labor day right? cause' the whole world is rejoicing the effort and the perseverance of each and every worker. Well enough for the pessimism of my brother. Let's just talk about the Labor day.

As what I have said, Labor day is to celebrate the achievements of workers. May 1 is a national holiday in more than 80 countries (according to Wikipedia). The whole world is celebrating for your hard work, can't you feel any fulfillment/satisfaction? Well if I have a job, a real job, I would treat this event as important as Christmas because I think each of the hard workers out there deserves to be known and to be appreciated even for a day. Right?

The funny thing about this blog of mine today is that while I was researching for some useful information about the Labor day,  I came across to this movie entitled Labor Day (that was too obvious?!?) staring Kate Winslet etc. I honestly don't know the movie, not even familiar with it, so for those of you who is curious about the movie should watch it and hey tell me all about it (*smiley)

Back to Labor day.
To give you a little bit of history about Labor day, Let me first ask you who celebrated the first labor day in United States?

Labor unions themselves. Labor union is an organization of workers who gathered together to achieve common goals such as achieving higher pay, increasing the number of employees an employer hires and lastly, for a better working condition.

When and where did they start celebrating Labor day as a national holiday?

They started celebrating Labor day as a national holiday since 1894. The first Labor day parade occurred on September 5, 1882 in New York City.

Who came up with this wonderful idea of Labor day?

Most historians credit Peter McGuire, a general secretary of the Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners and a co-founder of the American Federation of Labor. McGuire's idea was to give a day for workers to show their morale or team spirit. while other historians credit Matthew Maguire.

With this basic information about Labor Day, I hoped that you have learned something from me today.

Happy Labor Day!

Cheers!

LONG LOST BLOGPOST: Give and you shall receive...

"February isn't so complicated boys, give and you shall receive.."

Adriana Lima said on her commercial at Teleflora ...

I can say that this advertisement is effective because when my brother watched this commercial through youtube off course, he was like "oh yeah!"...

2 days before valentines day... It's awful but I don't have date except my father and my brother which is sweet but you have to admit, it's different when you're with someone other than your family during valentine's day, well what can I say, it's been always like this since my birth.

-------------------------------

This is my long lost blogpost, I think I didn't have time to finish it because of my house chores at the time, sadly, I really can't remember. Don't you just love reading some scraps from a person's mind, scraps just like this article. I mean out of nowhere you'll find this article about adriana lima and valentine's day...Come on, ordinary people talks about current issues or events, maybe I'm not normal at all but I don't mind, cause knowing/ reading (in this case) what other people had said before is wonderful (for me) cause' it's not everyday that this kind of info will be on your way. And we have to admit that we cannot be here today without our yesterdays, right?

Have a wonderful day!

Happy Blogging :)

BTW you really have to watch the ad of Adriana Lima with Teleflora, she is sooo gorgeous!

Lastly. Did I make any sense at all?
